Samastipur :- The train derailed at Samastipur railway station on Saturday afternoon. As soon as this information was received, there was a stir in the railway department. Along with this, a team of many senior officers of the division reached. However, there was no casualty of any kind in the incident and there was no impact on the operation of trains.
According to the information received from the Railways, two old coaches were being shunted in the railway yard on the west side of the station at around quarter to three on Saturday. Meanwhile, a four wheeler of a coach derailed. ART van also reached on its information.
Along with this, apart from ADRM Manish Sharma, Senior DME Aditya Ujjwal, Senior DSO Praveen Kumar, Senior DEE TRD Ashutosh Jha, many other senior officers also reached the spot. Betpari coach has been brought back on track after about two hours after ART’s effort.
On the other hand, Additional Divisional Railway Manager II Manish Sharma said that a high-level inquiry will be conducted into the incident. He told that action will be taken against those found guilty of negligence. He told that it is a matter of relief that no damage has been done, yet the incident will be investigated.
